Welcome

 

Alpha Kappa Delta (AKD) is an International Sociology Honor Society.  Members are selected on the basis of superior scholarship and serious interest in Sociology.  Alpha Kappa Delta strives to promote the study of social issues and serve the community, while at the same time providing an extracurricular outlet for students interested in the study of Sociology.  We provide sociology majors with networking opportunities with each other, graduate students and faculty.  Please check out the rest of our website to learn more about Alpha Kappa Delta at The Ohio State University.

AKD had it's first meeting of the quarter on Jan 25th.  We welcomed many potential new members who will be initiated later this quarter.  We discussed ordering t-shirts, volunteering for the Capital City Marathon and going to dinner at Applebee's.  Please check our events page for upcoming events and meetings.
